Diane Joester | Senior Architect, LANSA Product Center
Diane is the Technical Director of the LANSA Product Centre in Sydney where she is in charge of the planning, development and delivery of each new version of the core LANSA product suite. During her 20+ year love affair with LANSA, she has been deeply involved in all the technical facets of LANSA’s evolution through client/server, the web and now mobile computing. To her unchallenged product knowledge, Diane adds excellence at clearly communicating answers to the most difficult of technical issues.
Mark Duignan | Application Modernization Tools Architect, LANSA Product Center
Mark is one of the original brains behind LANSA's 4GL and Repository architecture, starting from LANSA/AD in the eighties (now LANSA for iSeries), RUOM (Rapid User Object Method, the predecessor of LANSA's current modelling tools), LANSA Open, Visual LANSA Framework and RAMP (LANSA's Rapid Application Modernization Method). More recently Mark has also been responsible for several major releases of aXes, LANSA's Web, mobile and cloud enablement solution for 5250 applications.
Rob Hyde | Senior Architect, LANSA Product Center
Rob has been intimately involved with “all things Visual LANSA” for more than a dozen years. He manages the team that designs and develops the VL Integrated Development Environment, the VL Runtime environment, VL Components and now Business Objects. That LANSA remains the tool of choice for so many organisations globally is, in a large way, a testament to Rob’s clarity of vision and his drive to adhere to the moto “software made simple”.
Eden Watt | Vice President, Services, LANSA
Eden and her consulting teams have been implementing leading-edge eCommerce and modernization solutions for IBM i enterprise systems for over two decades. Prior to joining the executive team at LANSA, Eden was a computer science major, application architect, programmer and project manager, starting her career as a systems engineer for IBM. Over the last decade, she has contributed dozens of articles to industry publications and is a published author of both fiction and non-fiction. Eden has presented at conferences for both IT and business-focused audiences.
Madan Divaker | Product Manager, LANSA
Since joining LANSA 14 years ago, Madan has acquired extensive knowledge in all LANSA products, as well as .NET and Java expertise. Initially he worked at the LANSA Product Center, helping design and develop the LANSA product suite. Currently, Madan is involved with LANSA Training, Technical Support, Services and Product Development, as well as keeping abreast of market and technology trends.
Randy Mercer | Data Sync Product Manager, LANSA
Randy joined LANSA over ten years ago and led the initial development and many initial implementations of LANSA’s Global Data Synchronization solution - LANSA Data Sync Direct. Today Randy is a Solutions Architect at LANSA and industry authority on the topic of global data synchronization.
David Brault | Product Marketing Manager, LANSA
As Product Marketing Manager at LANSA, David Brault draws on his knowledge of IBM i (System i, iSeries, AS/400) technology to help determine the market message for LANSA's products. David has over 15 years of LANSA experience, including extensive involvement integrating IBM i applications with various Windows, Web and wireless technologies. He is currently responsible for launching new LANSA products and serving as the U.S. product line expert for press and analyst briefings. David is a member of the COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) and a frequent speaker at COMMON and other industry events.
Don Nelson | Vice President, Customer Support, LANSA
Don brings over 20 years of LANSA experience to his role as Vice President of Customer Support - including 12 years as a LANSA ISV, where he designed and developed a LANSA-based ERP system. This experience provides him with a unique perspective on developer and end user needs. Don manages Customer Support, Product Management, and IT.
Bob Gleisner | Director of Professional Services, LANSA
As a Director of Professional Services at LANSA, Bob Gleisner draws on over 25 years experience working with a variety of IBM midrange systems across a wide range of industries. Bob has extensive experience with the LANSA suite of products and manages the LANSA Enterprise Systems (ERP) practice. He has worked with a variety of LANSA customers including Morton Salt, Kawasaki, Pitney Bowes, Motta International, Carlisle Foodservice Products and TimeMed Labeling. He’s a frequent speaker at various industry events including COMMON and has authored numerous articles.
Steve Gapp | President, LANSA Americas
Steve Gapp brings 25 years of experience and leadership in the SME environment to his position as President of LANSA Americas. Prior to joining LANSA in 2008, Steve served as president and CEO of change management software vendor SoftLanding Systems until its acquisition in 2007. In 1988 he founded Oasis 400 Software Ltd, a UK company that focused on the midrange market. When Oasis was acquired by SoftLanding in 2002, Steve was asked to step up and lead its global operations. His experience on this platform stretches back to the days of the IBM’s System/32 at Compass Ltd, a software consultancy firm based in the UK that was the forerunner of LANSA’s first business partner in Europe.
Steve Collins | Director of Professional Services, LANSA
With a solid academic background in mathematics and software engineering, Steve began his career as an application programmer using many different languages and platforms. In his 18 years with LANSA, Steve has played roles of Architect, Designer, Project Manager and Quality Manager on many large and innovative projects and actually prototyped LANSA’s very first Web application. Steve is a regular speaker at LANSA user conferences, has presented at various seminars and has written technology and project management articles for industry publications. Today, Steve is a Director of LANSA’s Professional Services group; however, he primarily enjoys collaborating with clients to build an early vision of their future, and seeing it come to fruition through the appropriate use of technology, process and talent.
